Today, I celebrated the good weather by making the rounds to as many different activities as I could. I dropped by the Advanced Archery class and watched as the talented archers shot for the moon…and sometimes landed among the grass. But I didn’t fault them for this, as the targets were almost 100 yards away. I also happened by the Barn this morning and sat in the trees while the advanced group of campers in Riding were lunging the pony Cinderella.
The canoeing trip from Lake Jocasse returned today with many stories of peaceful waters and beautiful sunsets. The cabin of Wit’s End was almost empty last night due to the camper-Captain river overnight that went out, and the Riding overnight returned this morning with their horses in tow.
In the afternoon, I dropped by King Arthur’s to watch some tumbling practice and to catch up with the Try Everything group. They were busily plucking away at ukuleles in their final day of the music rotation. Also in King Arthur’s Court, I met up with the campers wrapping up their full day of climbing on the wall.
Tonight’s Evening Program was the Dating Game, featuring some well-known people around camp: Jim, Denice, Tajar, the Wompus Cat, and many more. What an exciting night!
