Today, I visited the docks for some fun in the sun. The canoers were having a blast paddling away and I caught up with a photography class that was taking pictures of the beautiful lakefront. Afterwards, I went down to the Nature Nook where the Farm and Garden class was learning about the pecking order of our own chickens, and then took a trip to the compost pile by the donkeys to see the campers add more grapefruit, banana peels, coffee grounds and other good stuff to the smelly pile.
In the afternoon, I stopped by the Landsports field to cheer on the soccer game that the campers were in the middle of. After a few goals were scored, I moved on to the Drama 2 class that was practicing their scene for Final shows and listened to the ukulele players learning a new song. It looked and sounded pretty good to me!
Tonight’s Evening Program was our most colorful and creative one yet, Captain Rainbow! After his very first performance in the new Castle and a rocking dance party, it was hard to say goodnight and crawl back into bed. But here I am now, signing off for the night.
Sweet dreams,
Tajar
