Today was a bright, sunny day on the shores of Lake Fairfield. It started a bit late because we all got an extra hour of sleep due to a much-needed Sleep-In. After Devotional in the Dining Hall, I first joined the Would-Bes at the swim docks for some lifeguard training and lake safety lessons. Next I leapt up to Weaving where the campers were working away on their stools and chairs. I decided to get some exercise so I ventured down to Landsports to play some kickball with the campers. What an exciting morning!
After lunch I helped the Lake Jocassee canoeing trip pack out, and then waved off the Mountaineering trip heading over to Granite City for some bouldering. I hip-hopped over to Hip Hop and enjoyed watching the campers learn more of the dance for Final Shows. Right as it began to drizzle, I made my way over to the Barn where the campers were tacking and grooming the smallest pony we have the pleasure of knowing, Munchie the Horse.
Tonight’s Evening Program was PYSK (Page/Yeoman/Squire/Knight) where the campers broke into their respective age groups and partied all together. The Pages and Yeomen had a blast at BINGO which was pajama party-themed, and the Squires and Knights sang their hearts out at Karaoke. All around a fun day!
