Wowee! Today went by so fast, I hardly saw it go. This morning I dropped by Tennis Games just in time to catch the campers begin a new round of Queen of the Court, so I hopped in and started playing with them. After I worked up a sweat I cooled off with Sailing down at the docks and helped some of the Sailors with knots and rigging.
After lunch and a very restful rest hour with a special visitor, the harpist, I stopped by Lily Pad where a Farm and Garden class was making watermelon, lime, and mint popsicles with mint grown from our very own garden. Afterwards I made my way up to meet Stagecraft and see the cool found objects they were using to build the proscenium for Peter and the Starcatcher, including a mermaid made out of a waterbottle, a clock made out of utensils, and a crocodile made from insoles and bottle caps.
Tonight’s Evening Program was Whose Line Is It Anyway and the counselors involved did a tremendous job of improvising hilarious sketches. It certainly is a very popular event and the campers and I were laughing all the way back to our beds.
Catching time and catching my breath,
Tajar
