Today we had some very special visitors; the llamas! The Farm & Garden and Earthworks classes were in for a treat when they got to run around the waterfall field with the cool creatures. Also in the morning the scene study class began their staging and the Would-Bes went on their way to compete at the Camp Cup on the Nantahala. A full day hike went out today to visit some great views atop tall mountains in the area and today was the JC’s day off! Today there were fun times and trips all around.
Tonight’s Evening Program was the Great Race and in my opinion it was better than great… it was SUPERB! From the human knot to the Frisbee golf bonanza to the wheelbarrow race to the house of cards challenge, the campers travelled around camp to all of the stations in order to complete the race the fastest. Even though we all knew that the prize for the winners would only be first in line for the showers, all of the campers did their best and had a GREAT time doing so.
Full of folly,
Tajar
