Thursdays at Merrie-Woode are the best days, not just because all days at Merrie-Woode are fantastic, but also because of pizza, Bag Supper, Movie Night, and overall Thursday shenanigans! Today was no different and I spent the morning rocking out with the Jazz dance class and chilling out with the Weaving class. A hop skip and a jump away I met up with the Farm and Garden classes, which were making popsicles with basil grown right here on the lakefront! I also peeked into a tent set up by the Try Everything group that is learning about mountaineering this week. We discussed how to read terrain maps and plan fun hikes with our friends–yhe Range Ranger who ranges the ranges of the region and I have so many new ideas now! After a delicious Pizza meal and a peaceful rest hour soaking up the sun, I wandered over to Archery where I shot the breeze (and some arrows) and then to Landsports where I enjoyed watching a game of pick-up soccer. The movie tonight was the new Beauty and the Beast—what a treat! We all munched on popcorn and sang along to the songs in cozy Castle, and I affirmed my opinion that Thursdays truly are the best days.
