Today was a hot, hot day on the shores of Lake Fairfield, but we at camp know the best ways to stay cool: drink lots of water, take a dip in the lake, and stay positive! Today I fought the heat by visiting the Dance Studio to watch the Hip Hop class work on their final show performance. Afterward I leapt to the lake and bobbed around in the water among the kayakers, canoers, sailors, swimmers and lilies. To dry off I wandered up to the building named after me and knitted a hat to keep the sun off. After lunch I ranged the ranges of the region all the way to the tennis courts to play some tennis games with the Ace class. After some volleys, forehands, and backflips, I decided to get my creativity on at Weaving, Stained Glass and Arts and Crafts! Speaking of creativity, the Evening Program tonight was Talent Night, showcasing songs, dances, a chronology of the Olympic Games, and musical feats! This year’s show featured many songs and dances written and choreographed by the campers themselves, which really impressed this Tajar! I think I have to step up my game for next year….
Watch out, Talent Night 2018,
Tajar
