Another beautiful day on Lake Fairfield and I can feel the session coming into full swing. The sun was shining, the campers were buzzing with energy, and even the bullfrogs seemed to chug-a-wump a bit louder. Today I journeyed up to the compost pile with the Earthworks class to learn how the food we throw away after a meal can be used as fertilizer once it is decomposed into soil. The Would-Bes were practicing kayak slalom on the lakefront when I visited them and I decided to take a dip with the synchronized swimming class as well. I made my way around to the tennis courts and busied myself bouncing balls on my tail while the Ace class practiced their serves and swings. Tonight’s Evening Program was BINGO and I had so much fun jumping around with the campers who were dressed in their finest brights and tights. I think it will be a very peaceful night after all of that hullabaloo.
