And yet another beautiful day upon the shores of Lake Fairfield has passed. Today was an especially sunny day and I took advantage of the nice weather to sunbathe next to the rolling area in the lake. Among the canoers playing Titanic, the swimmers playing Categories, and the kayakers playing tag in their boats, it was not a very relaxing sunbath, but I enjoyed my time by the lake nonetheless. After I became a bit more than burnt, I cooled off with the ceramics class which was finishing up the fairy house construction. I then wandered down to the archery field with clay all over me and witnessed two campers shoot bullseyes! The Try Everything groups switched today and I was so thrilled to see the campers begin their first days of riding, mountaineering, or boating. It was especially exhilarating to watch some members of the boating group get into a boat for the first time ever! The evening program tonight was Slip N’ Slide Kickball! Even my friend Denice got into the spirit of the game…and the pool at 1st base. What a perfect way to end a day in the sun with some fun in the dusk. Now I can take a dip in the lake to wash off all the slippery soap, and have sweet, sweet dreams about trying new things.
Wishing you sweet dreams, too,
Tajar
