Another beautiful day in sunny Sapphire Valley has gone by, and I am ever so happy to share these gorgeous days with my camper friends. Today, the Farm and Garden class was busy planting and watering their basil and tomato plants in the new garden by the lakefront. Once they had sufficiently tended to their garden, I followed them to their farming portion of the activity, which was made up of the two lambs and the one bunny rabbit. After some feeding (of the animals–no Tajar food for me), I climbed to the tippy top of camp so visit the mountaineers up in King Arthur’s Court. They had opened up the climbing wall again today, and I peeked in for a bit to watch them try out the new climbing paths. The two day hike set out today, and will return late tomorrow; I can’t wait to hear all the amazing stories they have to tell when they get back! Since today was Thursday, it was Pizza Day at the Dining Hall! All of our JC friends graciously spent the whole morning making pizza for us all, and I had a good nap after eating too many slices to count. I stolled down to the lakefront again in the afternoon and watched the Try Everything boating group practice their paddle strokes, and the sailors attempt to catch a breeze. After a hearty meal of bag supper, I anxiously waited to see what the movie for Movie Night would be, and it turned out to be Bum’s Rests’ favorite, Lemonade Mouth! I had a super fun time peeking in and watching through the open barn doors of King Arthur’s. Now if only I could get the popcorn kernels out from between my teeth…
