Another day of rain and shine has passed, and I overwhelmed by all the excitement! This morning, the skies seemed to loom, but the sun broke out right as Chastle began. Once activities started, I swung around the Bang Shop, the Arts and Crafts building, and the lakefront. During second period, I even snuck into a canoe and watched as the kayakers practiced their wet exits. It took some effort to keep my tail from dragging in the water, but it was well worth it! It was All Day Wall Day up at King Arthur’s, so after a good nap during rest hour, I peeked in to see the climbers test out the new climbing wall and the Try Everything Mountaineering group practice their knots. Afterwards, I tried to take a nap in the Fritz Orr Memorial, but I was interrupted by the first read-through of the play. It was so riveting, I couldn’t fall asleep! The Evening Program tonight was Counselor Hunt Auction, a new mashup of two beloved Programs. For the game, cabins had to find a hidden counselor, identify them by their first and last name, and then bring them back to Chapel to win a prize. Every cabin got an auction prize for their hard work, but the cabins that found the most counselors received the biggest prizes, such as everyone’s favorite, Dinner with the Dunn’s! I tried to be found during the Hunt so a cabin could win a large prize, but I suppose I’m too sneaky of a Tajar, and I remained hidden. Oh well, there’s always next session!
With great folly,
Tajar
