Clik here to view. The first Sunday of the summer has come and gone and it sure was filled with worship, joy, and some death-defying life leaps! After the traditional breakfast of quiche and cinnamon rolls, the whole of camp and some special guests come together for a Chapel service led by John Brantley. Chapel finished under cloudy skies, but the rain and thunder held off until after the campers signed up for their Sunday activities, which included the Dam Swim, an Old Bald Hike, trips to Panthertown, Rainbow Falls, Maiden Hair Falls, and Tie-Dying! I was a little jealous of all the fun outings that the campers could go on, but I took a dip with the best Dam Swimmers to ever swim the Dam and I felt much better afterwards. Tonight’s cookout theme was Musicals. Drama Staff put on their most extravagant attire to serve the campers dinner. At the end of the day, a Tajar Tale (that’s me!) was read at campfire by our very own Jim Dunn. All of the littlest campers loved it and it made me so glad to see that my adventures are still appreciated!
Feeling quite content,
Tajar
