Brrr! Even my furry coat can’t keep me from shivering in this cold weather we’re having. At least the sun is shining and the counselors are in high spirits! There’s still much to be done before campers arrive, and the Swimming and Drama Staff are hard at work. Swimming Staff installed the new grey-and-green lane lines, and now the lake looks even more Merrie than before. Drama Staff spent all day discussing the upcoming June and Main-session plays. I like the ideas they have for the set of Androcles and the Lion, but whoever this lion is, I’m sure he’ll never outsmart THIS Tajar! Mountaineering Staff went over knots and wilderness safety. I say, it must have been very cozy by the impressive fire they built! Riding Staff practiced teaching lessons and showed off their new lambs and miniature donkeys. I sure am excited to see camp filled with campers, and I can’t wait for all of the staff to be together again! Until then, I’ll keep warm and keep working.
