Howdy from an elated Tajar! Today’s the day we’ve all been eagerly awaiting: THE PLAY! “Fantastic Mr. Fox” was everything we waited for and more. Huge congratulations to our fantastic director, Lindsay, and the entire cast and crew for pulling together an unbelievably amazing show in less than three weeks!
Before tonight’s Evening Program, we had a splendid day under Old Bald. A little drizzle here and there didn’t dampen our spirits! Girls are wrapping up their projects all around camp. In Ceramics, Stained Glass, and Arts and Crafts, all of the finished pieces look…might I say…fantastic!
The Dance classes are hip hoppin’ away and preparing for a slam dunk final show. Music classes, as well, are finalizing chords and beats as they complete and perfect the last bits of their performances.
Drama’s showing of the play tonight made me so unbelievably happy. For one, seeing all of the campers’ and counselors’ work pay off on stage makes my heart so full. But, more importantly, seeing my fox and badger cousins explaining what life is like for us was so touching. We connected out there.
Wrapping up the session has been such a joy. Campers have absorbed the most of every moment, and we can’t help but feel so much pride at what an awesome session this has been all around.
Okay, enough reading, let’s get to the pictures and enjoy the extra fantastic pictures from the performance!
Check out TODAY’S PICTURES HERE!
(Other activities carried on today as usual, but Tajar was lucky enough to be there for dress rehearsal!) As always, the pictures will slowly appear one by one overnight. A Tajar Tip: check in the morning for the complete album!
Break a Leg,
Tajar
