Clik here to view. This morning I was feeling a little chilly in the cool weather so I decided to be proactive and visit knitting to see if I could talk my way into borrowing a scarf or some warm wooly socks. Some campers were nice enough to lend me a pair of needles so I can make them myself! Once my toes warmed, I took a peek into Ceramics, where the campers are finishing up their wheel-thrown bowls and handmade pencil holders.
In the afternoon, I visited Archery, which was also being visited by Middie the bunny out on a stroll. She and her fellow Farm and Gardeners were taking a little nature walk in the afternoon sun and wanted to say hello to everyone! Afterwards I stopped by the barn, where the horses were just going out on a trail ride around the Lake Trail. While I was waving them of, I caught of glimpse of the campers coming back from the first of many sailing trips going to Lake Glenville this week. They certainly looked like they were sun-kissed and wind-blown.
Tonight we enjoyed the second night of Director’s Showcase, which featured camper-directed scenes selected from Rose of Treason, Silent Sky, and Wait Until Dark. The audience was enraptured by the performances as well as the eloquent answers given by the directors during the talk-back. All in all, the whole of the directing projects were incredibly performed, wonderfully directed, and highly received. I wish I could give all of those involved yet another standing ovation.
With claps and snaps,
Tajar
