Clik here to view. This morning, I was in the mood for some theater arts, so I made my way up the Castle hill to watch the dress rehearsal for the first night of Director’s Showcase. I can’t wait for the rest of camp to see it! Afterwards, I peeked into Hip Hop, which was fervently practicing the Final Show performance and having a great time doing it. Glee Club was having a blast as well, preparing their own song for this Sunday’s Chapel service and Final Shows! It won’t be too long until the day of Final Shows comes. I am already so excited to see all of the performances.
In the afternoon, I stopped by kayaking and canoeing, where the campers were perfecting their rolls and hip ups and other nautical nuances. In jewelry, the campers were making beautiful silver earrings that will look so nice alongside the headbands that the knitters were making in Tajar. From the top of the highest tree in camp, I could see across the street where Jim had taken a number of the girls golfing. You could say that we Tajars enjoy the lynx.
Tonight’s Evening Program was Counselor Hunt, wherein the counselors did their best to hide form the campers—not a usual occurrence at Merrie Woode, to be sure—as they were sought out and, if found, were made to walk the plank. Camp was abuzz with activity tonight, as campers spread out far and wide to search for their counselors and the night ended with many a lake-sodden counselor and victorious camper.
Off to my own hiding place,
Tajar
