This morning I decided to see what Zumba was up to because I heard lots of raucous coming from the Dance Studio. They were busy dancing away and having a blast doing it, too. Afterwards I hopped down to Ceramics, where the campers have already begun to glaze their clay creations, and then to weaving which was abuzz with yarn and chairs and stools galore. I went back to the Dance Studio to see the progress that Contemporary Dance has made on their Final Show performance, and they are just about finished! It’s hard to believe we’ve come so far in the session already!
Today I hopped into the chicken coop with a Farm and Garden class to investigate how the new chicks are handling the larger pen. While we were in the pen, we took Middie the bunny out on her leash to explore with all of the chickens. To cool off, I stopped by the docks and helped a sailing group unrig their boat for the day after a lovely class period gliding around on the water. The running crew and wardrobe crew for the musical were in for a treat today, as they watched a full run of the show, which kicks off tech week for the production. I can’t wait to see it all come together, as with all of the other Final Shows! Tonight’s Evening Program was Wednesday Night Live and the campers were laughing their heads off at the campy parodies of Saturday Night Live skits portrayed by counselors onstage.
With lots of whiskery kisses,
Tajar
