Clik here to view. This morning we all awoke to a light drizzle, typical for a Monday, but I was convinced not to let that get me down. To begin my day I wet my feet in the lake and watched as the boaters practice their strokes and play water games. In the lakeside garden a Farm and Garden class was harvesting the cucumbers, tomatoes, and other vegetables grown by all of the campers. In the afternoon I visited King Arthur’s Court, where a group of campers were practicing their Mountaineering School tactics on the climbing wall as another group was tumbling around on the mats. In the Bang Shop, the jewelers were hard at work shaping beautiful earrings and bracelets out of copper and silver wire.
Tonight’s Evening Program was Books on Parade, for which the Page cabins wrote plays based solely on the name of famous works such as East of Eden and Little Women. The plays were performed by members of all the Knight cabins and much hilarity and dance party shenanigans ensued. I certainly worked myself into a tizzy and I will now enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Falling asleep to all the raindrops,
Tajar
