This morning I chanced a visit to Lily Pad, where I had the enormous luck of running into an impromptu yoga class. Campers were bending and stretching all sorts of ways that gave me and my prehensile tail quite a challenge. To cool down afterwards I visited a ukulele class and contented myself with swaying along to their strumming. In Sewing, the campers were hard at work on their embroidery projects as well as pillows, scrunchies, and other miscellaneous endeavors.
The lake was calling to me after the hot morning, so in the afternoon I settled down by the docks to watch the synchronized swimming class practice their performance for final shows. The sailors were enjoying the blustery day as well, trying not to capsize but laughing when they did. After a delicious Bag Supper, we all gathered in Castle for Movie Night! Tonight’s movie was The Parent Trap, the camp of which suspiciously resembled our own here at Merrie Woode, but maybe since we’re so blessed with rarest beauty, other camps, both fictional and real, seek to replicate us. Either way, it was great fun to sit together in the dark, cozy room with lots of popcorn to satisfy us all.
Leaving on the Merrie Woode trail,
Tajar
