This hot sunny day was perfect for hanging out by the lake, so I began my morning with a trip to the docks to splash with canoeing, kayaking, sailing and swimming! While I was down there, I noticed something strange—campers were swinging through the trees on the High Ropes course! I waved a hello and scampered up to join them just in time to fly down the zip line by their side. Taking a break from the sun, I hopped into the Arts and Crafts Hut to make some very patriotic crafts with the campers in anticipation of Independence Day tomorrow!
In the afternoon, I stopped by Castle to see what the players of Crazy for You were doing. Even from the Landsports field, I could hear them tapping away as they learned the choreography for one of their numbers. Inspired, I travelled up to Tap class as well and learned that they were in the middle of choosing a song for their Final Show performance. Tonight’s Evening Program was Jeopardy, which included such trivia as camp geography, fun facts about Senior Staff, and pop culture. Between the dance parties and ringing buzzers, everyone was having a blast and learning some new facts.
