Clik here to view.Today I moseyed on into arts and crafts to see what the campers were up to today. Turns out they were hard at work painting views of Lake Fairfield, Old Bald, and other camp icons. Down at the docks the campers who went on the canoeing trip to Lake Jocassee were using their new skills to paddle our own Lake Fairfield. In the Bang Shop, the jewelers were finishing up working on their bronze rings, which would go quite nicely with the purses, headbands, and scarves that the knitters were working away on. In Stagecraft, the techies were quietly working away on the sound and lighting for The Wind in the Willows, which is only a few days away now! I bounded up to Sewing in excitement and swooned over all of the campers’ beautiful embroidery projects.
The Evening Program tonight was Plaque Night. By the end of it, there was paint everywhere! Sure, some of it managed to get on the plaques to signify everyone’s cabins, year, and session, but the added decoration of paint on hands and faces truly made this night colorful! Now it’s time to wash my tail and dry my eyes from laughter.
Yours squeaky clean,
Tajar
