Today was the last day of Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday activities, so I made the most of my time by visiting as many activities as possible. In the morning I went by the Drill Team putting the finishing touches on their performance for Final Shows, and then stopped by the Nature Nook to say hello to my small animal friends who made another guest appearance today. Afterwards I said hello to all of the archers at archery and the artists in Stained Glass, Ceramics and Arts & Crafts.
In the afternoon I spent the majority of the time down by the docks, soaking up the sun with the boaters and swimmers. Water Aerobics was spending their last class playing games in the water, so I decided to jump in and play along with them. Next I made my way up to the Tennis Courts to drop into the Ace tennis class, and then onto Tajar to see the Knitters.
Tonight’s Evening Program was the closing Night of the show for the Knights and Plaque Night for the Pages, Yeomen, and Squires. I dropped by Plaque Night for a bit to see the cabins painting their plaques, but I spent the majority of the evening peeking into Castle to watch the show for a second time. I got all dolled up for the show—even a Tajar has to get fancy sometimes. I must say it was for good reason, for the performance tonight was even better than last night and I am so proud of everyone involved, form the cast to the crew to the staff. Every year the shows blow me away, but this one really did the new stage proud.
