The Camp Merrie-Woode Drama Program is gearing up for a summer of FUN! This summer, we will be transforming Castle into seas and swamps as we fight pirates and dragons, forge unlikely friendships, and celebrate our uniqueness, creativity, and humor!

Hoist your sails, there’s treasure to be found! Treasure Island joins Jim and a band of pirates, including Long John Silver, Captain Smollett, and more as they venture on the Hispaniola to a faraway island in search of treasure. Once they get to the island, it’s up to Jim to save the day as his new friends plan to take over the ship from Captain Smollett.

Shrek tells a tale of unlikely friends on an adventure of a lifetime and is filled with heart, humor, and fun!

With the announcement of our 2024 productions, we have another exciting announcement: Meet our Director, Candice Burchill! Candice has been teaching theatre and directing at Brevard High School since 2010, where she also serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair. She enjoys performing and directing locally and spending time with her family. This summer, Candice will be commuting from her home in Brevard to spend afternoons under Old Bald and work with campers and staff on the Castle stage. She is looking forward to meeting all of you, hearing your stories, and helping these magical stories come to life.
We cannot wait to see you in Castle this summer!!
