Another beautiful day here at the peppiest camp and the energy of the campers is truly soaring as we end the first week of activities. In the morning, I dropped by Tumbling to see what the acrobats were up to and 
I was pleasantly surprised to see the progress of the campers. In Music, a Ukulele class was preparing a song for Sunday Chapel tomorrow and in Dance, everyone was busting a move in practice for Final Shows. Down at the barn, the riders in the Drill Team were hard at work sketching out their performance. Over in Stained Glass, the grinders were going strong as the campers were finishing up their first projects and beginning more challenging works.
After an especially relaxing Rest Hour, I journeyed to the Nature Nook and joined the campers as they made butterfly feeders in Farm and Garden. Afterwards, I hopped to sailing and practiced some of my knots with the campers. Tonight’s Evening Program was Slip-N-Slide Kickball. All the teams dressed in team colors (and some face paint) and a spirited tourney ensued. The final two teams played a competitive match and got soaking wet before singing Taps and putting our heads on our pillows for the night.
