Even though it’s the last week of camp for Main Session, we haven’t let that slow us down! This morning in the Dining Hall during breakfast, everyone celebrated Christmas in July. The Dining Hall was decked out in lots of Christmas decorations and everyone dressed up in their favorite reds and greens. What folly! As I was swinging through the trees humming Christmas music, I saw Lucy Wood heading to the Nature Nook, so I decided to see what she was up to. During first period, the Nature Garden class got to make popsicles with Lucy! They made delicious flavors, like Strawberry Buttermilk and Watermelon with Lime and Ginger. The campers loved helping out, chopping up fruit, and measuring ingredients. We even got to sample the finished product before they went into the Popsicle molds. Filled up on fruit, I went to see what they rest of camp was up to. The Landsports classes got to play Badminton today on the Volleyball Court. Some campers got to join the mountaineering group on the low ropes course this morning. What fun!
The drama program has been prepping and getting ready for the play tonight. Everyone at camp is so excited to see The Little Mermaid. For Evening Program tonight, they broke up the groups. Pages, Yeomen, and Squires got to see the play, while the Knights painted their plaques with their cabins.
Full of Folly,
Tajar
